I am still up and wide awake, working on my two-page individual reflection for Project Management. I loathe school. Cannot believe I'm doing this but...
According to your age, list down the number of things that most people don't know about you. And then tag 5 people.
(1) Queer, but I love scraping nail polish off my nails. Secretly I look forward to peeling it off after painting them all the time.
(2) I never wear my hair push back because I have really ugly hairline. Although I know hairline recession are hereditary, I still wish that one day the lines will become straight. I'm in denial.
(3) As much as I insult and poke fun at my elder sister, I still very much look up to her. I took up piano lessons, because she did. I quit ballet when I was in primary school, because she did.
(4) I misplace about > 10 items a year. That is how muddled-headed I am.
(5) I still sleep with the night light on. Sorry, wimp is me.
(6) Too shy to sing out loud or even humming a tune to a song. Don't like to believe I'm tone deaf, but I am.
(6) Ever since I was four, I always had a dog in my life. They are mostly named after food, Muffin, Cookie, Sushi ... etc.
(7) Back in 1996 when the Power Ranger fad was in, I picked the pink ranger to be my altar ego and watched the movie nearly over 20 times.
(8) I mass bookmark websites I think I would revisit again. Unfortunately, I haven't check back those pages since. Good thing I've this list to remind to delete everything off my bookmark.
(9) I am Queen of procrastination.
(10) I have about 10 pillows/cushions on my bed. Can. Not. Sleep. With. Only. One.
(11) I fell off the monkey bar when I was eight and fractured my wrist, and had a cast (named it Iris Jr.) on it for about half a year. Made my friends sign and doodle on it. Bawled when it was time to remove it, emotional attachment okay!
(12) I have a drawer full of fancy letter pads, notebooks, envelopes and journals which I never use. I still think they are too pretty to be written on.
(13) I curse and swear too much for my own good. I intend to stop, soon.
(14) I got into trouble once for cursing my teacher in Primary 6. Said nasty things like her unborn child will turn out looking like a frog and would suffer under her hands. From then on, she ignored me completely and treated me like invisible girl. Not that I minded or anything.
(15) I like to lie on marble tiles because I find it very cooling to do so.
(16) I coloured Sushi's fur pink with a marker when my Mum first brought her home. I was 14.
(17) I cannot stand having oily hair, or looking at them. Which is why I have to wash my hair everyday, sometimes even twice. Over washing emits more oil glands, but I don't care. Give me my shampoo now!
(18) I don't like driving, I prefer to be driven.
(19) About 80% of the items in my bag is pink in colour. No, I am not a bimbo. They just happen to be pink. I'm thinking of a colour change soon, maybe red this time?

After weeks of living with a tongue stud without a ball bearing, I've decided to just let the piercing die and enjoy the full glory of food. No more uncomfortable moments (constantly feeling the presence of the stud, don't know why I just can't live with it), no more mispronunciation(!), best of all, no more painful moments of forcing the stud back into the piercing.
2 weeks of jail time. I hate school and I can't wait to graduate from this suck fest. |

First day of school wasn't so bad after all despite having a really bad rash the previous night. Thank God for gr8t classmates, and hopefully this semester will fly by as quickly as the last one did. Just 2 more months before school breaks for a vacation again, persevere persevere.
The half filled luggage still needs a little more packing to be done. So does the whole room. My maid has since been gone for a week now and I can't say Mum has been in her best of moods. I have to admit, I am not a neat person and falls slightly more on the untidy side. Challenges we face in life haha.
Just two more months. Big 2-0, I am not ready for you.

In the name of Art Outreach, Nicole and I went down to MGS primary to teach the girls Art. Not so much of a success but I really had fun! How I actually really miss those IJ days and I've never realized that all the little girls really lookalike! I made four new friends Little Deborah aka the leader of the pack, Little Stephanie aka Takashimaya, Little Natasha aka Tampines and Little Nicole. So apparently Little Deborah pointed out to me that all four of them wear spects, hence the name The Spects because they are out to inspect. Hmmm. Definitely back for another trip! |
